Public Transportation

From San Francisco Airport: Marin Airporter buses leave from the lower level every half-hour (on the hour and the half-hour) from 5:00 a.m. to midnight every day. Transfer at Larkspur Landing to the free shuttle to the San Rafael Transit Center. Santa Rosa Airporter buses leave every hour on the half hour, 6:35 a.m.-11:35 p.m. every day, and stop at the San Rafael Transit Center.

From Oakland Airport: Santa Rosa Airporter buses leave every hour on the half-hour (look for the "Scheduled Shuttles" sign), 6:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. every day, and stop at the San Rafael Transit Center.

Golden Gate Transit: Buses provide service to the San Rafael Transit Center from points in San Francisco and Sonoma and Marin counties and from the Richmond and El Cerrito BART stations in the East Bay.

Golden Gate Transit Bus 49: (Novato–San Rafael Transit Center Southbound) leaves once every hour, 6 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday through Friday. It stops at the corner of Grand and Acacia Avenues.
